Will’s Café Bar is situated in the heart of picturesque market town Malton. The café-bar which was established in 2001 was taken over by Adam Lewis in the spring of 2007. During the past 3 years Will’s Café Bar has continued to go from strength to strength.

With Malton’s booming coffee culture Will’s Café Bar has been described by the local newspaper as a slice of urban chic in rural North Yorkshire. Will’s Cafe Bar offers a friendly warm welcome delivered by the excellent staff which can be tricky to find in this genre of establishment. (Yorkshire Post, 2009). It is the only place in town to enjoy a delicious sandwich and homemade chips with a freshly ground coffee, or a chilled alcoholic beverage, the perfect place to relax and socialise with friends. The décor is modern with leather sofas, wooden floors and Tv screens all finished with upbeat background music. (Mercury Newspaper, 2008).

The superb reasonably priced lunchtime meals which range from tasty paninis to homemade gourmet beef burgers are all cooked and prepared by Ilkley born Joe Hammond. The young chef trained in two of Adams other businesses. He moved to Malton three years ago and has not looked back since. He and his food have improved exceptionally growing with the company.

Will’s Bar has been managed for the past two years by local James Buckland who learnt his craft with the Tate-Smith family. He has been working in the hospitality industry for nine years gaining experience across a variety of businesses.
Will’s bar offers popular evening entertainment such as a weekly cash prize general knowledge quiz, live local music and a busy weekend atmosphere.
The bar is also available for private hire including birthday parties, christenings or Christmas parties, Joe can provide catering if this is required.
